Get notified instantly when someone exports your data

Data security is paramount to any system, CRM or otherwise, especially when multiple parties are involved. At Masterkey, we have a rule: The customer’s data is exclusively that, the customer’s.


In past updates, we’ve shared with you how to restrict access to users from the System Admin Module. With restricted access, your users can have access to data only to the extent that they need for their jobs. This includes the ability to restrict access to the data export feature.


In line with efforts to keep your data secure, we’ve recently released a feature that allows administrators to be notified when someone from within the organization exports data from Masterkey.


For example, when a user exports contact details from the contact zone, the group administrator will instantly receive an email notification containing the details of  this activity. Simultaneously, Masterkey is able to log this activity and identify what data file was  exported, together with the date and the time it was exported.


This is just one of the many measures that Masterkey has implemented to ensure the highest levels of security. All sensitive data is encrypted using above-industry-standard encryption, restricting even staff within Masterkey to access it without you  specifically granting Support access to your system.

Check out the new and improved email composer

We’ve completely revamped the email composer in Masterkey for a cleaner, more responsive design, added formatting and layout options, and created a bigger text box for your messages!

With the new formatting and layout options, similar to what you would find in Microsoft Word, it is now much easier for you to highlight important text in your email, make bullet points and numbered lists, and change the text size. If you copy and paste emails into the composer, you can also strip old formatting using the ‘remove formatting’ button to ensure a consistently formatted email.  


The above is all fine and good, but we’ve saved the best for last...


You can now include links to your property unit cards when you send emails to your leads. With the new composer, you can simply search for units to include inside the body of the email directly. You’ll no longer have to go through the unit zone one by one to look for units, which will certainly save you a lot of time.

We’re not done yet...


With our next release comes the ability to send emails to multiple leads in one go, unit cards, mail merge and all. It’ll be the same smooth experience as before but with a lot more options available. We’ll keep you posted on the progress through our blog or better yet, follow us on Facebook for all feature updates.

Thanks for making our 9th Connect Event a huge success!

Our 9th Connect Event was simply awesome, and here’s a quick recap of what went down on the night of  March 30th at the Tamanya Terrace, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City.  


Over 200 real estate professionals attended and enjoyed some free drinks and great networking.  


The real estate community had the chance to connect with one another through our Instagram Challenge, where they were asked to snap a photo with another agent from a different company.  Visit our Instagram and look for #masterkeyconnect to see those who took on the challenge.


As usual, we also gave away some awesome prizes too.  Livia Kubara from Lannhill Real Estate won a voucher for dinner for two at Certo, and Alyona Kusenko from Always Property took home the overnight hotel stay with free breakfast at Radisson Blu, Dubai Media City. The night’s big winner, Deepak Arora from SNS Properties, walked away with a brand new iPhone 6. So congratulations to all the winners!

Masterkey and Bayut collaborate

Masterkey has teamed up once again with Bayut.com, one of the top property portals in the UAE,  to bring all UAE-based real estate professionals together in one place.  This 9th installment of the now infamous Masterkey Connect Event is a highly anticipated event that gives the real estate professionals a chance to connect with one another in a more relaxed networking and social environment.  


This month, the Connect Event is back with Bayut as the primary sponsor.  The Connect Event will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Tamanya Terrace in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City. More than 250 real estate professionals are expected to attend.

Version 4.8.38 (22 March 2015)

  • New: Export Notifications: As an admin or manager, you will be notified via email when any user exports data from the system. (This is only applicable on zones)
  • Email Integration: Incoming / Outgoing email cases have now been moved to Azure on live. This will enhance reliability of email integration and result in many customers (hundreds) being able to use it concurrently.

Masterkey has a NEW homepage

We are pleased to reveal our newly designed homepage which goes live today.  Take a sneak peek!

 

The new Masterkey homepage features an uncluttered and trendier design, more organized sections and readily available information.  We revamped our homepage to a more client-centric layout so you can more easily scan, read, and navigate our site to find the information you need quickly.  Our aim is simply to make it more visually appealing, agile, interactive, easier to navigate, and more user friendly. It’s also responsive, which means it works beautifully on any screen size, including your mobile phone!  


The new homepage highlights Masterkey’s evolving product and service offering, including enterprise-level support, product features, clients and their testimonials, and blog posts. You’ll also find easy access to the client login page.  


Our website is still a work-in-progress and we are revamping it in phases. The home page was our first priority, and soon the rest of the website will feature this new and innovative design.


Our team has worked collaboratively to put together a beautifully designed homepage rich with relevant information. We look forward to hearing any feedback from you.

Masterkey launches its Open House

Masterkey recently launched a monthly “Open House” event at our office, literally opening the doors to our clients for an informal and casual Q & A session. Compliments, concerns, praise, criticism… All feedback is welcome at this open forum. Hosted by Masterkey senior management, the event will take place on the last Thursday of every month.


The first installment of the Open House was proved successful, as attendees shared their experiences with Masterkey. We talked about what they appreciated most, where we could do better, and even noted down a few feature suggestions. We think everyone had a great time, but maybe that was just because of the strong coffee and tasty snacks.


The next Open House is scheduled for March 26th in our office. We hope to see you there!  



Power through your leads with a Power Hour

 

 

 

Have your clients ever said they feel neglected? That you never got back to them?


We fight with constant interruptions and lets face it, as much as we may want to, we don’t get back to our customers as often as we should.


So, why not try scheduling a power hour?


The objective of a power hour is to have a set time daily or weekly to focus on providing great service for your customers. This can be done through consistent communication where you stay informed with what they want, how they’re progressing and what they feel is next.


So let’s take a look at the tools you need to maintain contact with your leads - especially those with whom you haven’t talked to recently.

What does a Power Hour entail?

It’s faster than ever to user Masterkey to work through your list of leads. You’ll need:

  1. A dedicated hour to contact customers

  2. A computer and phone

  3. Masterkey open and ready to go

What part of Masterkey helps me with this?

The Masterkey sidebar allows you to quickly action leads such as:

  • Log a call

  • Send an SMS

  • Send an Email

  • Postpone a lead

  • View latest activities

  • Close the lead


For a group of leads you can:

  • Close all leads

  • Transfer all leads

  • Mark all as read

  • Mark all as unread

  • Send a mass email to all leads

How do I get started?

  1. Use either the lead zone or sidebar to see a list of your leads.

    1. We recommend using a sidebar report, such as ‘Open Leads Buyers’

    2. You may want to spend the first day or two just closing leads that you’re not in touch with any more. It’s better to have a clean list to work with.

  2. Now sort the list by ‘My Last Activity’.

    1. This will allow you to show the oldest leads first.

  3. Go to each lead and call / email / SMS them.

    1. As you do this, you can use ‘Log a call’ or even ‘Send SMS’

    2. This also automatically logs an activity against the contact.

  4. Do this daily and within a week you’ll have a clean list of active leads to chase.

What is lead escalation?

Lead escalation helps by automatically marking leads in red after a set time period so you know which ones are being missed. Managers can also use this to help their teams to close leads and keep in touch.


You can set up lead escalation rules through our support team. It’s completely optional, but we do recommend it.


Based on user feedback, we’ve set some guidelines for how often you should be in touch with your clients. Masterkey can modify this based on your specific requirements if needed.
